Despite our best intentions many of us find ourself running around trying to pick up a last minute birthday gift. The biggest issue is what to get, and we are already pressed for time. To help you here are some suggestions, and ideas that may just turn out to be a wonderful present to give.
While you may want the gift to be personal and custom, time does not always allow for a unique gift. The most important thing is that you remembered and you got a gift. As the saying goes, it is the thought that is important. So with this in mind, here are a few suggestions or ideas that are fast to pick up:
- A Gift Certificate
What is the person's favorite store. It could be a clothing store, a sports store, or a craft store. Think of the person and what they enjoy, and then pick up a gift card that will allow them to pick the perfect present. Many times people really appreciate receiving gift cards as they can choose what they need.

- Theatre or Movie Tickets
This gift is enjoy by people of all ages. They can pick the movie or show that they would like to see. And, it is a luxury for some people to be able to go to the show. If it is a parent of young children, you may also want to handwrite a babysitting night on you.

- Lottery Ticket
A gift of hope. We all buy lottery tickets with the hopes of winning. Who knows the birthday person may just win - wouldn't that be a great present!

- Dinner on You
In your card handwrite "dinner on you" on the date of their choice. You can either prepare a home cooked meal, or, you can take them to a resturant of their choice.

- Flowers
The old standby a bouquet of flowers. While the giving of flowers is always an option, it is always appreciated.
